SURFACE CLEANING / COMPACT

S-Cleaner

Keep harbour and reservoir surfaces clear without a crew on board.

A 2 m, 270 kg autonomous catamaran that detects and collects floating debris in harbours, reservoirs, rivers and scenic waters, using lidar and cameras to avoid obstacles.

Export is subject to approval for each project. Availability for your country is confirmed on enquiry.

Tasks to assess

  • Routine floating-debris collection in harbours, fishing ports and marinas
  • Reservoirs, lakes, rivers and scenic waters in sheltered conditions
  • Sites that also want surface-water quality data from optional sensors
Read the application guide

Configuration checks

  • Compare daily debris volume and type with the 50 kg basket and the unloading frequency.
  • Plan a launch, charging and unloading point; the S-Wharf docking station is optional.
  • Check the manufacturer wind and wave rating (wind force 4, wave grade 3) and its test conditions against your site.

COMPLETE SYSTEM

Specify more than
the vehicle.

The portable control terminal (S-RTU) is standard; the S-Wharf docking station and S-Center remote control centre are optional. Interfaces are reserved for side-scan sonar, multi-parameter water-quality sensors, multibeam bathymetry and ADCP; confirm the specific sensors offered. Figures follow the manufacturer’s 2026 product introduction; an earlier brochure lists different speed and endurance.

Confirm in the delivered scope

  • Vessel, collection or payload equipment and mooring points
  • Control terminal, software and remote link
  • Batteries, charger and docking station if selected
  • Optional sensors and data platform
  • Transport, spares, manuals and operator training

Standard, optional and custom items must be listed separately in the quotation.

MANUFACTURER VIDEO

OPERATING CONDITIONS

Confirm you can
run it locally.

Unmanned surface vessels depend on more than their specifications. These items are confirmed for each project and market; the IMO’s autonomous-ship code does not amount to a navigation permit for small unmanned vessels.

Before purchase

  • Export approval for the specific project and destination
  • Permission to operate unmanned vessels on the target waters
  • Radio certification for the delivered radios and remote link (for example CE RED, FCC, ISED)
  • Lithium battery test reports and dangerous-goods shipping arrangements
  • A supervision and manual-takeover plan, with suitable insurance
  • Offline operation, local data storage and raw-data export

QUESTIONS

Before you specify the S-Cleaner.

Can it replace a manned cleaning boat?

It can take over routine collection of light floating debris in suitable waters. Large or heavy debris, strong winds and busy navigation channels may still need crewed boats, so define which tasks it will cover.

How is the rated coverage measured?

The brochure lists at least 10,000 m² per hour. Actual coverage depends on debris density, route, wind and unloading trips; ask for operating records from comparable sites.

PROCUREMENT

Prepare the next review.

Agree the site conditions, acceptance test, delivery scope and support responsibilities. Product names and rated figures alone are not a project specification.
