Configuration checks
- Confirm the support vessel, crane or A-frame, deck space and crew for a 520 kg vehicle.
- Specify sonar, manipulators and survey sensors; each is optional and changes payload and trim.
- Agree data outputs and reporting standards with the asset owner before mobilisation.
COMPLETE SYSTEM
Specify more than
the vehicle.
Sonar and five- or seven-function manipulators are optional items purchased separately. The manufacturer describes modest support-vessel requirements; confirm the vessel, launch system and complete-system footprint for each project.

Before you specify the R-400.
How does the R-400 compare with the R-150?
The R-400 is rated deeper (800 m vs 500 m), carries more payload (50 kg vs 20 kg) and has 12 thrusters instead of 8. It is also heavier and needs larger launch equipment, so choose it when the task needs the extra depth, tooling or thrust.
Has it been used offshore?
The manufacturer reports two offshore wind projects in Guangdong, China, for an offshore wind farm operator: inspection of booster-station pile foundations and grouting, and a subsea cable survey covering seabed anomalies and burial depth. These are manufacturer references, not projects delivered by PanPan Marine.
